Patient Christmas Funding (2012)

This year Small Grants funding was awarded for the patient festivities across the Lothian’s including;

  • Newington Day Hospital – for those using the Learning Disabilities Service
  • Paediatric Outreach Service
  • Royal Hospital for Sick Kids – Clinical Research Facility
  • Royal Infirmary Edinburgh – Ward 207 (General Medicine), Ward 110 (Neonatal Unit), Ward 211 (Post Natal), Discharge Lounge, Ward 203, Ward 119, Lothia Birth Centre
    St Johns Hospital – Ward 1 (Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit), Discharge Lounge, CAMHS Willowgrove Day Service
  • Western General Hospital – Pre-admission Unit
  • Royal Victoria Building/Hospital – Ward 75 and Ward 1
  • Ellens Glen House – Thistle Ward
  • Royal Edinburgh Hospital – Hermitage Ward, Meadows Ward, IPCU, Craiglea Ward, Canaan Ward, Eden Ward (Male & Female), Jordan Ward, Myreside Ward, Pentland Ward, Ward 14, Orchard Clinic (Cedar Ward, Hawthorn Ward, Redwood Ward and other parts of the clinic), CAMHS Inpatient Unit
  • Liberton Hospital – Medicine of the Elderly Wards including wards 2 & 4
  • CAMHS Tipperlinn Day Service
  • Corstorphine Hospital – Ward 3

Alongside the awarded Small Grants funding and thanks to the generosity of patients and others who made donations to the existing Endowment funds, many others wards, departments, services etc were able to access similar funding so patients in their area could benefit from festive cheer over the holidays.
