Neigh Bother is a group project for young people between the ages of 14 – 17 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder either experiencing, or at risk of developing, a mental health condition.
The project will be developed in partnership with FOTA (Friends of the Award), Karele (equine facilitated activities provider) and CAMHS East Lothian. Referrals will be generated via CAMHS, Health, Social Work, Education and Third Sector. Young people can also self refer thereby further promoting accessibility.
The sessions will comprise of a range of practical tasks around horse care. This will be led by three Karele instructors and supported by the FOTA Development Officer.
