On 27th November 2013, the Trustees of the Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation are hosting their second public meeting at their Headquarters at Waverley Gate. The event will commence from 5.30pm (refreshments available from 5pm).
As well as giving a brief overview of the Foundation’s last year, the event will include a case study of a recent grantee, and a guest speaker from solicitors Turcan Connell will speak about legacies to NHS hospitals.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural public meeting, the Trustees are looking forward once again to welcoming Specific Fund Stewards, Grantholders and prospective applicants, solicitors, other supporters and members of the public. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the panel including our new Chairman, committee Chairs, and the Foundation Director.
Jane Ferguson, Foundation Director said “It has been such a busy year, and we have seen the Foundation go from strength to strength with an expanded team and our first full year of grantmaking. Our profile is expanding rapidly across the Third Sector as an impactful organisation that invests in the health of its local population. The Public Meeting has become an important part of our calendar when we share our journey and our vision with our stakeholders.”
Please contact us if you would like to attend, or submit a question to our panel.
