Your Fundraising Stories

Our Incredible Fundraisers

We always love hearing about the amazing things that our fundraisers can accomplish through their determination and commitment.

Within this section of our website you’ll find some of the fundraising stories that have inspired us and moved us. We hope that they will inspire you too! Donations help provide additional patient and staff amenities, equipment, education and training, research and the arts and heritage, over and above that provided by NHS Lothian.

We want to say a million thanks to everyone in the department of Clinical Neurology.”
Fiona and Lorna have set themselves a challenge to run, cycle and kayak, 105 miles, over 2 days from Nairn to Ballachulish. The team at Clinical Neurology performed life-saving surgery for Fiona’s mum, Teri and Fiona’s partner, Scott so they want to raise money to say thank you. Read more about their challenge here

Not all of our fundraisers and donors share or wish to publicise their stories and/or their fundraising events, but we are proud of every single one of you. We hope that if you and/or your loved ones have to go to hospital or require the services of NHS Lothian, that the contribution made through your donations will make your experience a little bit better, more bearable and more comfortable.

There is a lot of fabulous fundraising activity taking place on behalf of ELHF. If you think one of our many amazing fundraisers appeals to you, their page can be viewed through the link in the image below. Alternatively, take the plunge and consider fundraising yourself or donating via. our JustGiving page.
