There is an increasing number of patients presenting to our service with postural problems. These patients live at home and have complex neurological condtions, resulting in altered body shape and asymmetry. This can result in severe secondary complications.
At present, we only have access to basic equipment to trial with patients to improve body alignment. In order to provide a better service, we require a selection of different types of appropriate equipment to enable us to assess each person as an individual and to then make recommendations to stores for funding.
