To host the annual Orchard Clinic barbeque for patients and staff, planned, organised and hosted by The Vocational Rehabilitation group within the unit. This group aims to provide skill development opportunities. It is facilitated to allow patients to practice and develope work skills such as organisation, planning, decision making and dealing with pressure and time scales. To develop structure and routine and build confidence. Many patients use this as a stepping stone into work related activities such as volunteering. In addition the BBQ allows patients and staff from three seperate wards to celebrate the work of the unit and interact in a social environment.
