Lyda Henderson Travelling Fellowship

The Lyda Henderson Travelling Fellowship is awarded annually to staff of NHS Lothian who work in breast disease. The purpose of the fund is to support a travelling fellowship to the maximum value of £5,000 by way of travel and placement funding at a Centre of Excellence. The aim of the fellowship is to improve patient care or experience by leading a clinical/research project.

The fellowship has been made possible by the generous gift of Mr Kenneth Graham, to commemorate the life and work of Mrs Lyda Henderson, a previous charge nurse in Breast Oncology and Theatres, and a much respected colleague of the Edinburgh Breast Unit.
